The tourist region "Zugspitzregion" basically comprises the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the Bavarian edge of the Alps. There is an incredible amount to
discover here. For example, you can relax at beautiful lakes like the Staffelsee, the Eibsee and the Riegsee. You can climb the surrounding mountains - from the Ammergau Alps to the Zugspitze in
the Wetterstein Mountains. There are gorges like the Partnachklamm to discover, you can explore the Murnauer Moos, cycle through the beautiful landscape or stop somewhere and just enjoy the
mountain scenery.
My landscape photos from the Zugspitz region give you a first insight. This region is also a paradise for landscape photography and nature photography in Upper
Bavaria.
The tourist region "Tölzer Land" stretches from the mountains far into the foothills of the Alps and includes the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The Isar
flows through the Tölzer Land, Kochelsee, Sylvensteinsee and Walchensee are in it and the Isarwinkel.
The Tölzer Land is one of my favorite photo areas as a nature photographer!
In the area surrounding Munich there is another tourist region: the "Starnberg-Ammersee Region". As the name suggests, Lake Starnberg and Lake Ammersee lie within
it.
Of course, there is a lot to discover photographically here, too!
The tourist region "Pfaffenwinkel" basically represents the district of Weilheim-Schongau. The name Pfaffenwinkel comes from the many churches and monasteries that
can be found here.
But my attention is of course more on the beautiful landscape. Whereby a church can also be wonderfully embedded in a landscape photo!
A little further away from my adopted home lies the tourist region of "Allgäu" - a really wide swath of land that stretches from Füssen via Oberstdorf almost to
Lake Constance. In it, you'll find beautiful lakes, magnificent mountains and numerous smaller and larger villages nestled in the landscape.
Of course, it's also a paradise for landscape and nature photography.
